1. Overview

FuelScout is a fuel price comparison app for Romania. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we access, why, and how it is handled.

2. Location Data

FuelScout requests access to your device location solely to show nearby fuel stations and prices. Your location is never stored on our servers, never shared with third parties, and only used in real-time within the app.

3. Document Dates

The app allows you to optionally save expiry dates for vehicle documents such as ITP, RCA, Casco, and Vignette. This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers or shared with anyone.

4. What We Do Not Collect

No account or registration required
No personal information collected
No analytics or tracking SDKs
No advertising identifiers
No data sold or shared with third parties

5. Third Party Services

FuelScout uses the following external services solely to deliver app functionality:

Photon by Komoot - city and address search. Only the search text you type is sent, no personal data.
FuelScout API - our own server providing live fuel prices from public sources in Romania. No user data is collected or stored.

6. Children's Privacy

FuelScout is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
